so much has been going on in my life recently that i thought i might spill some of it out to the 2, maybe 3, people who will see and read this!


HOORAY, HOORAY, I GRADUATED

i graduated from school recently and just got my certificate in the mail not too long ago. i did a 180 hour externship at an OB/GYN and really enjoyed it! i wish i could have ended up getting hired there, but luck isnt usually the best with hospitals. they threw myself and the other girl the most presh goodbye party! cake, pizza, cards, presents, plaques, money, etc! i havent found a job yet but im also not trying as hard as i should be. im taking my certification exam end of this month so im holding out a bit so i can look better on paper. if all goes well, ill be a certified medical assistant.


LOVE IS THE IN AIR

one of my best friends was bidding on a house that had went for sale across the street from me a few months ago. long story short, she lost to someone we ended up know, but didnt know hed bid on the same house! fast forward a few weeks and we all go up north and said boy meets us up there [same friend group]. since he didnt come the same day as everyone else had, he would have been driving back 3.5hrs alone. so i offered to ride with him since id enjoyed his company that weekend. would you know that car ride changed my life?

since then, wed kept in touch via text. we had our nightly "dual power comedy hour" at 10pm every night and then he finally got the keys to his house. he closed on his house july 23rd and i havent went a single day without seeing him since. we even went on a date just so we could say we did and the next day he sent me flowers because he had such a great time. one dozen white roses with a note that read "who would have thought that the largest purchase of my life would not be worth as much as who it brought me closer to". LET THE AWWS COMMENCE, PEOPLE! i cried a lot that afternoon. and FYI: largest purchase = house. i can say i feel completely different about him compared to other guys ive dated and im very excited about where this will go! its nice to be wanted and have someone care about you as much as you care about them. i heart my boyfriend!

i suppose i have been MIA for quite sometime.. i don't post to LJ ever, but that's because i live in the blogging world of VOX now. anyways, i have been driving around with my newfound freedom that comes with my new-ish license enjoying life and trying to have fun with two of my closest friends now gone. i no longer go on AIM because it kind of depresses me to know ryan and i have nothing to talk about since he's been gone 3 months. seeing him online only makes me wish we had something to say. [he blogs about his time with Americorps, so i know what he's up to.] avoiding AIM just makes it easier. also, have been playing the same damn internet game that has been consuming my life since roughly last october. apparently i am a geek :P
